Don't want to get my hands dirty! And I don't much like the current batch of Guilias and Guiliettas. The Brera was an attractive car. But there's one car I'm more likely to get just for sheer fun.

An original BMW 8 series. That works. Bought one 6 years ago, like painting the Severn Bridge - repairing it is a continual process. It’s like the crazy girl you date in your late teens - just when you think everything is ok it blows up for no reason. A quick flash of boob though (pop up headlights) and your sucked back in again!

For the pure engineering (of the time) I would go for the first edition of the McLaren F1. For craftspersonsip, it would be an Aston martin. I'd only be driving either for 24 hours. Before I died in an accident or have my driving licence revoked.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Partial to a Mustang for some reason! so it'd probably be a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 for me.

I owned one for a few years. Originally the Lotus 7 and when Colin Chapman no longer wanted to make it a Lotus dealer, Caterham Car Sales, bought all his blueprints and the rights to build it. But they couldn't use the Lotus badge so came up with the novel idea of calling it the Caterham. Not quite the same. Mine had a Lotus badge on it, as did loads of others. And, you're right, it was a head turner. And bloody quick.

I would like a Bentley S2 Continental Sports Saloon...
You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself. |
