I tuned in to this and was immediately struck by the MSPs being a bunch of scruffs. The FM answered everything in triplicate and went out of her way to alleviate all their concerns no matter how petty or trivial. What evidence do the committee produce, other than they find something 'hard to believe'. Did they address this concern with the FM in front of them? Obviously not.

Beginning to wonder if the other political parties want her to stay in charge at the moment? She has clearly been damaged by events and if she remains in office, then carries on spreading her toxicity going into the elections that are due soon?

Pretty good summary about Sturgeon for those who have not been following it. Next week I expect the SNP drones will vote in her favour. However I suspect there is still more dirt to come out and at some point the men in grey suits will probably tell her she is now a liability and will have to go.

How can a former advisor to the SNP who was reappointed by Sturgeon herself in 2015 be allowed to carry out an investigation into his paymasters? Edited by The Dolphin (21 Mar 2021 9.49am)

And that received wisdom might be that by keeping her where she is doing more harm to the SNP, and therefore the cause of Scottish independence, than replacing her. No real interest in upping the pressure. Ironically the mainstream press calling for her removal actually strengthens her grip on the SNP. Politics is a murky old game at the best of times but up in that God-forsaken hell hole of a 'nation', even s***tier than usual. Edited by Matov (21 Mar 2021 1.24pm)

That is why they will let her hang hoping that a new personality will emerge. And yes she is now damaging the party so in a way I don't want her gone either.

Me being me is the best excuse/justification I can offer. But the politics...like something out of sub-Saharan Africa. A cess-pit full of snakes. And why so many Scotch politicians build their careers in England and look to land an English constituency.

It is many things, but it is not " a God-forsaken hell hole of a nation".

Should qualify that, in my opinion.

Should qualify that, in my opinion. Really? You need him to qualify it? How about this, he's not fond of Scotland due to its far leftist authoritarian lying politicians and politics. However I'm pretty sure it's a general comment about the political bubble rather than individual Scots. Qualified enough? Or do you want individual policies?
