Business Interruption loans are a major scam as well. The Dolphon I agree with your opinion that the govment stand to lose out big time on this scheme. I've heard a number of stories of tradesmen that have used the loan to do up their own house and then boasting that they will declare themselves out of business so they don't have to pay it back. All the while continuing to work. I don't know any of them first hand but have come across it from a number of different places.

As they may but hmg will be using all methods including spying which invariably will catch these people. Lots will get caught and sent to court so not only will they have to pay back but will be advertised in the press. Not good for business.

I’m a taxpayer, why the f*** would I want to work for people who do this. It isn’t clever “accounting” - it’s being bent and morally bankrupt. That and they will get their bollocks removed as it’s all traceable.

Once you sign your accounts off irrelevant how dodgy they are or accountant 'assisted' they are, its you in the frame. Loads are probably crapping it right now; 4 bed house, two cars,3 holidays....

You can take out a massive loan with little checking because the funders get 10% in fees.

The biggest claimants by far of furlough is the public sector. Biggest scam ever. How do you do gooders all propose sifting through millions of stay at home beuros? It ain’t gonna happen. There is no department in the government to chase any of these shmuzzlers. Just get over it and move on. What a load of b#ll#cks. Most of the public sector worked solidly through the last year from civil servants keeping the country running, doctors nurses and health staff keeping hospitals open to bin men keeping the streets clean. Look elsewhere for issues. For example one of my daughters pals was laid off about a year ago along with about 20 others. When she tried to sign on turns out the boss claimed they were all furloughed and was pocketing the money. Or the number of take aways and delivery food outlets making huge claims on eat ot to help out when they had no way of anyone eating in. Any policy rushed through will however carefully it is worded will have certain people looking how to rip it off knowing its pay now check later.

It appears this and furlough is where CP gets his 47 billion figure from.

A few billion here, a few billion there. Seriously who cares anymore? Get the printers going, clever economists. Inflation? What inflation?
