I do not think it is what if anymore sadly. The fact is we have won 4 games in 20 having lost 11 of those. They play better football and have a strategy for their club which we distinctly lack. They will go above us on Monday and then the Board and Parish will need to act. Pardew went with one win in 11 and we have won 2 in 12... A loss to Brighton would put Roy at 1 win in 11 also.

Unfortunately there has never been a plan B for when Zaha gets injured. We are so obviously a one man team and there has been no attempt to spread the burden. I get the impression that Hodgson doesn't quite know what to do with Eze, and just shoehorns him on the left because he cost £20m and therefore has to play.

I think we should move on at the end of the season, and I do think we'll be safe, thank Roy for steadying the ship, then appoint a new manager, and hopefully the board will back him.

We will probably lose, and quite heavily. They are a better side than Palace and are now on a confident winning streak. Roy will not walk, or be sacked. He is hoping to nick 6 or 7 points to stay up off, Fulham (H), Sheff U , WBA (H) and Southampton . And maybe hang on for a 0-0 draw in one or two of the more difficult. Will keep us safe, which is his objective, but all in all a bit embarrassing really. Dyche not coming Burnley are a better side and the new owners will provide transfer funds this summer. Lampard not coming. Chelsea has paid up his contract to end of term on the proviso that he does not take another job. Palace will not buy him out of that. Steve Cooper not coming if Swansea win promotion. Realistically that only leaves Eddie Howe - who is probably the least attractive of the 4 options. Other names, such as John Terry would be a complete disaster.

Parrish is playing poker stick or twist ? Big call I think you mean Black Jack, or possibly pontoon, the only bluffing taking place is pretending Roy will be in charge next season.

I was encouraged to see this. Great result for Fulham last night. They are by no means finish and neither W.B.A. nor Sheff. Utd will give up without a fight. Which is exactly what we have done in the last two matches. If we play like we did against Leeds and Burnley we will lose at home to W.B.A. I reckon we need ten more points, certainly eight. Three wins in any case. Goal difference will not be our 39th point this year. Without Zaha I can't see three wins. When he's fit the matches aren't winnable anyway. Tough times.
