I don't think WTC will fly personally, or the Hundreds seems a bit dotty when there is already T20.

I seem to recall that The Hundred will be on at the same time as T20 which will ruin the latter as the best players will have been stripped out.

I often go and see my team play in the T20 but have no interest in franchise cricket whatsoever

How has Stuart Broad kept his place - I'll ask before he gets 5 wickets and a ton of runs.

England batting collapse. Something somewhere is telling me I may have seen that before.

A disgrace.

As soon as we were victorious in the first test, I told my dear wife that we would NOT build on the success and that we would lose the next one and for once I was proved right.

How many predictions of defeat for a sporting team that you support does your dear wife hear on average per week, Willo?

My dear wife has asserted that I am akin to a "Gramophone record stuck in the groove" with my incessant predictions of doom and gloom.
She has mentioned that I am well versed in 'Sucking' the positivity out of a room.

Rooty cannot be expected to do everything.

It is only 20 minutes into the first innings that he has to come out and bat to rescue England yet again.

It is a bit like Palace and Zaha.

Seems Rooty is on a mission. 5 wickets for 8 runs in 6.2 overs. India all out 145

Gonna be interesting 2nd innings now, India have a 33 run lead.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Correction Rooty does do everything.

Another poor test wicket, hopefully it will rebound on India.

Is there nothing he can’t do!

Incredible bowling figures from the captain.

I resigned myself to not watching this morning, due to yesterday's embarrassment. I wasn't even going the check the score until I saw this thread. Gutted I didn't see Root tear them apart now!
