I had a friend in the park that day with some of his mates. I don't really get on with his mates. I fell out with one who is an ultra-woke middle class teacher from a village in Berkshire who always takes the most condescending far left view as possible. His dad went to Eton on a scholarship, but he keeps it very quiet. He is a Corbynista, but previously a member of Anti-FA, SWP and respect cohillision. They spend a lot of times going to talks. And had been in the park, having a picnic, listening to BLM speeches. It sounds ridiculous and it is but, these people arrive without documents and to be deported a document would have to be obtained from their own government. What government would agree to document them? Also as alleged asylum seekers HO are not permitted to advise their Government of any application they have made to remain. In a nutshell once they arrive undocumented nigh on impossible to remove, together with the fact we don’t always establish their true identity. Our PC/ do gooder brigade should think about this before bleating about how awful we are to these illegal entrants

Once someone has claimed asylum ( ie an alleged fear of returning home) it is nigh on impossible to deport, whatever their crime. Is the same whichever government is in power. It sounds ridiculous and it is but, these people arrive without documents and to be deported a document would have to be obtained from their own government. What government would agree to document them? Also as alleged asylum seekers HO are not permitted to advise their Government of any application they have made to remain.
In a nutshell once they arrive undocumented nigh on impossible to remove, together with the fact we don’t always establish their true identity. Our PC/ do gooder brigade should think about this before bleating about how awful we are to these illegal entrants

I once heard, that some have been known to flush their passports and documents in the toilets at Gatwick before they arrive at the 'Border Force' desks but I really don't know if this is a load of old hogwash.

All governments are the same, both equally poor at trying to stem the flow. The problem could have been nipped in the bud about 30 years ago by taking a tough stance but this was not done. It is, I am afraid too late now. No cooperation from the French ( this long pre dates Brexit), too many lefties who are happy for everyone to enter and get anything they want. They need to be careful what they wish for as we do not know who many of these people are

Indeed, most of these refugees are on the move cos we bombed the crap out of them, we do bear some responsibility for the situation, ironic really that the people I know, who were happiest that "our boys" were getting stuck in bombing over there, are the same people getting most annoyed when they see a dingy arriving in kent!
