I’m sure he has a few titbits for the Mexicans tucked away in his locker somewhere that will see him through his retirement.

We must never forget who Assange really works for and the role he played in getting Trump elected. I anticipate Trump pardoning him in the coming days but the real question must be what his future will now be. I suspect he wants to flee to Russia, where he would be welcomed with open arms. He won't be going anywhere near the USA unless he is taken there. I have heard whispers though that we might extradite him to Australia where he would remain in custody and not be able to flee. That might satisfy UK and US intelligence and get the nod from the incoming US administration.

Wikileaks has effectively been silenced. Never forget the disgusting people who support you being kept in ignorance and darkness.

The issue I has with Assange was not about releasing the material but refusing to edit it before he did. The Guardian had the common sense to do that so that lives were not put at risk whilst still getting the story out there. It also turns out that Assange was offered equivalent material from Russia and chose not to publish it.

Having issues with Assange is minor compared to that far greater reality.

I suspect the security services, on whom we all rely for our safety and the futures of those we love, would passionately disagree with you. We are NOT being kept in ignorance and darkness. We are being protected from information being misused.

You don't have to release the names of US spies embedded in foreign governments because you want to highlight that the US forces massacred civilians in Iraq or Afganistan. Wikileaks was just a website Assange was gifted the intelligence he didn't go and find it. No doubt other websites are available will be gifted stuff over the coming years.

Isn't that alleged rather than a fact? As for other websites looking to take over.....Yeah Badger, I'd expect there are loads looking at what's happened to Assange just begging for the opportunity to step in. Yet haven't.....when Wikileaks have been silent for some time. Edited by Stirlingsays (06 Jan 2021 11.02am)

Edited by Stirlingsays (06 Jan 2021 11.02am) The Guardian aren't facing prosecution because they revealed the facts whilst acting responsibly. You are correct that it is alleged that is what a court case is for the US will have to prove it which is why he should face justice and maybe innocent.

Assange hasn't done anything wrong in the UK apart from his bail offence. Why is he languishing in such conditions it is inhuman. Tell, the USA there will be no extradition, no rendition, or anything else.
