Red card and a penalty go their way and they steal a result. They are still too negative.

Anyway. Sheffield United aren't the ones we need to worry about. They won't get the 17 points required to catch us up.

All 3 results went our way tonight. Let's hope for the same again tomorrow.

The two 'yellows' were the correct decisions, hence Fraser received a 'Red'. I also thought the penalty was the correct decision.

Sheff Utd were good value for their victory and I humbly disagree that they were "Negative".Newcastle were disappointing and I suspect their Bulletin Boards have been awash with Geordies incandescent with rage.

Sometimes when I complain about our predicament at times with Hodgson I think what must it be like for a Newcastle fan... Yes not a huge club in terms of success but huge in terms of fanbase etc...

Imagine losing Rafa Benitez as manager and getting Steve Bruce as his replacement... Talk about lack of ambition..

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

In Benitez's last season at Newcastle they finished in 13th place.
Newcastle under Steve Bruce in his first season (Last season) finished in the same position.

Mike Ashley has been trying to sell the club for quite a while and if he decided to part company with Steve Bruce he would have to pay a substantial compensation fee.

They are the only team in the PL this season not to win a home game.

Some good results for us last night and we even move up to the dizzy heights of 13th place without so much as kicking a ball, thanks to the wheels falling of Bruce's Newcastle.
Burnley also lost and we may see Fulham doing likewise tonight!!

Fulham got a very creditable result at Tottenham, coming from behind to draw 1-1.

Apropos Brighton they have gone 9 PL games without a win.I have seen them a few times and according to my judgement they are better than their league position suggests.

that is pessimistic even for you Willo.

Brighton are dogsh1t, they will be back in the championship, where they belong, very soon.

Had it not been for two pathetic Derby games in 18/19 then they'd already be there.

Fulham keep totting up points on the board. Parker has got them moving in the right direction.

Watched second half’s of both last nights games and Fulham should have won and are now looking like a decent prem side. Brighton also looked very organised as always but can’t put the ball in the net. Think both will stay up going by the way they are now playing? Think the two below Fulham and one of us, Burnley or Newcastle and perhaps even Leeds will be the other to go down?
