Saw another source that Leicester were interested in him, especially as they are looking to offload Grey. Quoted there a 30mill fee.

I suspect one of 2 things, both equally likely imo.

1) Lazy reporting, just looking at estimated values and ignorant of the 8 mill release fee in his contract

2) He has signed a new contract that does not have a release fee.

Reading were on the TV a lot last season and this kid shone in many of those games.

I'm not sure whether the £8m release clause is true though. It was mentioned a lot last year yet nobody came in for him.

Definitely worth going for though.

I noticed Mark Bright follows that Instagram page which gives it some validity. What a signing this would be.

Excellent news if true although I haven't seen him play, he seems highly rated.

I've said this before with our budget it's pointless trying to sign really top players that the big clubs are after. However there is a second tier of really good players with potential to grow even more like Eze that should be our market.

Hopefully this is the start of many exciting players who want to come to Palace.
