My old accountant was called Richard Head!

Who would do that to their child?

My brother once altered the school register (1970's) (for a stand-in teacher) to include the pupil "Hugh Janus"

Has anyone seen Hugh ? ,...

My divorce lawyer's name was Will Power.

My off the cuff "is you brothers name Max?" went down like a lead balloon. He had probably heard it dozens of times in fairness.

Went to school with a kid called Winston Smelly, nickname......

Winnie the Pooh, what else!

Nice bloke, took it well.

I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB!

Bunkers Knob named after the hill that is there .
Many years ago [ in my youth ] we used to go there , and tried to notice which drinks were not on show [ orange juice etc ] and ask for them . The publican would go to the cellar to get it , when he did we all helped ourselves to what ever drinks . It was always best if you knew someone in there .

Hoare is a common enough surname here. Some hippies here called Hoare, named their daughter Sunovar, that is actually child abuse in my opinion. I presume she's married and taken the husband's name these days. I didn't believe it until I met her.
