You buy good players when they are fringe players or fed up with the playing time they're getting. There's no point in us trying to buy a player in top form. Out of our price range. We need a much better scouting and transfer system, anyone can see that.

To late steve, you should have snapped him up on the cheap-i"m available for other advice, but won"t be cheap!

All you ask is a ten percent consultancy fee. So around 1 mil up front and 500 grand in installments. Cheap at half the price. You could be living by the river soon enough. Which river, I don't know.

I'm often in Cork but I don't think I'm allowed across county lines currently. But I don't know, I haven't read the book on the restrictions cover to cover yet. Cork is a great place, except for the people's Republic of Cork rubbish.
Limerick City is 'stab city' in Irish folklore but in reality it's not that bad. In the pre Covid days we would have the odd hotel break in Limerick. Just to liven up the old relationship a bit.
But I'm in Galway, the far West, you can't beat that mate. I'm at the very edge of Europe. You're all Eastern to me.
