Glad Eze is able to start, especially with Wilf out. I think Ayew and Bats could work ok together with the former doing the running and the latter doing the poaching. Not a great deal of attacking options on the bench if things don't go our way though. I am not confident they will go our way at all. In all probability venting of spleens on HOL !

Looking at Burnley forum they're suggesting this is probably their best possible line up and sound surprisingly confident. Sounds like they've been missing some key players. Hopefully Wilf being out will give them a false sense of confidence and we whip them. You never know Willo

Subs: Butland, Ward, Sakho, Cahill, Mitchell, Schlupp, Benteke. If we are chasing the game then we are f**ked. Whats the point in having 4 defenders on the bench? Why not leave Sakho/Ward at home and take a midfielder and attacker from the youth team? Roy not using his head again

4 defenders on the subs bench. So tonight's plan of attack (sic) is get Bats to nick a goal, then spend 85 minutes defending. You obviously have not followed Palace for very long. We don't have any forwards, our policy being to sell or loan the ones we do have for a pittance and not to replace them...........

Roy was just talking about the team for tonight and Zaha not playing and was saying about 'giving us more options with our strikers'

In seriousness gives Roy a chance to play he's favoured 4-4-2. Yes Zaha is a loss, but this will happen to every team , look at Liverpool with Salah - but we ain't as dependent on Zaha as we used to be. Looks a solid team to me, my only observation is 4 defenders on the bench, surely an opportunity to include Banks as an unknown quantity off the bench - Roy..?? COYP
