Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

We were quite hard up when I was a kid. One year I really wanted an Action Man Commando for Christmas. I was a little disappointed on Christmas morning to unwrap an empty box, until my Dad told me it was an Action Man Deserter.

I was made up. None of my mates had that one.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

My Dad used to think it was hilarious to get almost what I wanted. Seeing his son wrestle with the 'that's really not what I wanted but how can I not be greatful for that?' was the highlight of his Christmas!

So I got an Atari ST when everyone else had an Amiga. I wanted a gameboy so he thought it was hilarious to get a game gear.

By the time the PS1 came out, I'd had him figured so asked for a Nintendo 64. In your face old man!
