On a plus side , it might be a great time to push through the planning on the new stand -fast track styly-as they are desperate- someone already mentioned this but makes sense.

West Norwood's Ken Livingston stormed out of the radio interview when he couldnt remember the name of Selhurst Park.

beware of lefties who claim to have good local affiliations.

Kayla did Anfield & Old Trafford

It Would be interesting to see a list of councils going bust that are either labour or conservative

Off the top of my head Northampton County Council became insolvent a couple of years ago and is in the process of being split up. I believe it was Tory run.

I'd hazard a guess with the recent economic downturn we could see more councils go down the same route regardless of which party runs them.

That's us.

Saw Labour MP today saying Cons aren’t going far enough with furlough, should be giving it more money.

spent millions buying property for ' investment'
(housing air thieves & general wasters)

allowed (and still are) the undermining of local areas with totally inappropriate new build hovels, fiercly opposed by the communities.
I had the misfortune to meet the cow & her lackies, knocking doors pre-election, nasty bunch.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

Looking around me in Croydon it has been locked down for over 6 months more or less.

The council has done well to maintain essential services.

But whatever political persuasion they are, they will not be collecting revenue anything like they need.

I think this must be widespread.

There is no alternative to the government making good.

And it is a type of poetic justice as they have been over-loading their responsibilities onto councils in the name of their flawed austerity policies.

How have we benefitted? Not at all over 2 trillions in debt.

And we keep being told we are a rich country. We can accept thousands of refugees, pay millions in foreign aid,

We are broke
