Well, apart from the very nice power station that dominates the landscape its not that bad. Princes Risborough would be better(imo). Williams GP Team has moved away from the area, tho you do have Harwell down the road in Chilton if you like a 'secret' Govt instalation.

Wallingford is nearby, A34 & M40 close guess it depends on work. Of course Oxford being the largest City is fairly close, but, thats like driving from Croydon in to central London.

Having done some research it would appear to be preferable to avoid Didcot itself

I take it she is not working on the steam railway ? And when Williams F1 moved from Didcot they turned 5hlt.
I prefer to live a small commute from my place of work, so within a 5 mile radius would still be good, and give more options, providing transport links are there. And CV-19 won't fck the job prospects up.

This is why I am not a parent, because even when the kids are adults, you still end up helping them out. kick her out and let her get on with it.

I disengage, I turn the page.

No jobs in her industry are secure and she has an interview, she will get offered the job, of that Ihave no doubt. She left home several years ago but I still have kept the paternal instinct. If the move happens she has decided not to live in Didcot.
Tom... still not letting you know where!!

Thanks for everyone’s imput:

I'm sure tom would be just an 'uncle' type of figure. You know protecting her and making sure she gets home safely. All the way to her bedroom

Hi Tom,

Perhaps you have thoughts about vetting her lady friends.

I know that after a shift on a locomotive a washing machine is needed - doing that washing while they go to the pub might be your entry level (to their trust0 or the highest lewel you ever reach.
