This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

To be fair, there’s also some anti-Blair feeling on this thread too. So, overall pretty well balanced. IMO Bliar deserves all the grief he gets. Wonder whether Dr Kelly’s family would like to take a gun to his head? And for Alistair Campbell to criticise people like Cummings is so ironic Edited by Spiderman (20 Sep 2020 4.09pm)

Although...He would be a good candidate for people you might travel back in time to remove from history...If such things were really possible. They aren't, just in case someone is wondering.

Good to know those on the right(rabb), are so interested in other peoples welfare and society that they propose to ditch the £7.20 minimum wage- so they can pay people less than that! Keep blowing smoke up their arses hrolf- they will look after you handsomely me thinks! 9Or so you believe) Interesting comment since the Tories have raised the minimum massivley compared to what they were under the last Labour Government.

Domonic rabb is a top CONservative hrolf- and he wanted to get rid of the minimum wage so they could pay the worker bees even less than £7 an hour- thats capitalism at it"s finest! Keep hanging on to the Eton boys cape tails- they surely accept you as one of their own!

If anything the minimum wage could be the law that has held back pay rises. Eventually companies would have had to compete with each other for staff (present situation is exceptional)

Keep blowing smoke up their arses hrolf- they will look after you handsomely me thinks! 9Or so you believe) I support the minimum wage and believe it should be about £10 per hour. That said we are facing a massive increase in unemployment due the virus and automation so I want politicians to use their imagination and be brave and to think the unthinkable. A while ago the BBC published an EU report that stated that Spain had enjoyed a far higher wage increase than the UK since 2008. What dear old auntie forgot to mention was that youth unemployment was 50% and total unemployment was just under 30%. In other words if you had a job and could hang onto to it you were getting a good pay rise, if? you had a job. Since 2008 in the UK wages have stagnated but unemployment has fallen until now as workers realised it is better to have a job and forgo a pay rise. I think Raab is wrong and I assume so do the the rest of the cabinet as his idea never got off the ground. However we have far too many "no go areas" in politics which means they are afraid to put forward ideas such as dealing with knife crime by BAME criminals. Rather than vilify Raab he should be rebuffed with facts by economists.

If you want to vote for the Party that signed up for Mass immigration and tried to reverse the referendum result for their own gain then good luck with that.

I am not getting involved in the politics of it all but how incompetent is that for the security officer to do that, beggars belief.
