I had a go Spidey. I’ll just get vilified but it made me feel better Looks like you were a victim of a sad angry man. Who in his 18 years of posting had made no friends. Not seen that side of the BBS before but Elgin did tell me it was like it when he set up Comrades.

There's a danagerous assumption on the left that all racists are thick. Some are very smart and manipulative. Many of the worlds most successful people have been completely deplorable. Dismissing them as stupid is lazy & predictable. A lot of people who get drawn in by racists are poorly educated, but calling them all thick just villifies those who've had less opportunity, further marginalising them and plays straight into the hands of Robinson & co. What people need to do is address the core concerns of people that follow EDL etc.... but that's too difficult for virtue signaling idealist. Stupid woke c**ts. So how are you helping the situation? Assuming here that you aren’t a racist ?

If you dont support BLM then you are a racist pretty much it seems. I am all for kicking racism out of society etc.. and I would support the kick it out campaign. However I think BLM is political and do not support it. This somehow makes me a racist? Apparently in this day and age we are not allowed to have our own opinion and are insulted and abused if we think otherwise. This is not a loaded question, how is it that you think BLM is political? Isn’t it really and precisely focused? What does being political even mean in this context?

Many thanks I just had a look through it too. For what it's worth you came across as perfectly reasonable to me. Hair trigger reactions and balkanised debate are the order of the day apparently.

So if two migrant boats crossed the channel in rough seas and I could only save one boat, the first boat had 4 Somalians birds on board, the second boat had 4 fit Swedish birds on board, if I saved the latter, would that make me racist...

Racism is a term the western left, and now even the so called right, have demonised...pretty much exclusively for white Europeans. In fact I'd go as far to say it's become an anti white slur.....all for a natural bias that the rest of the world get to demonstrate without question. Obviously the answer is that you'd attempt to save both regardless as saving human life is basic humanity. But if it were really a toss up and you had no choice then you choose the boat full of people you are closer to genetically. Just as you would, in an equally desperate situation, choose to save a boat with your family members on it over one without them. All natural human behaviour. However, I don't agree with some when they say people should be left to drown. That's not who we are....however, this land is English and whatever laws need to be changed to keep it that way should be changed.....Well, that needed to happen decades ago.
