Any paper that uses bold to emphasize words treats its readers like retards. I know the Sun did that...any paper that does that. Edited by Stirlingsays (06 Sep 2020 4.57pm)

Is this thread about me? I thought it was about newspapers. You clearly read The Guardian and believe it.

The worst, by far, is the Mail. The Sun and the Star aren't really newspapers. The Express is going the same way whilst pretending it's a competitor to the Mail. The Times, Telegraph, Guardian and Independent are all serious newspapers. You might not agree with their political stance and get annoyed by their reasoning but they are at least always intelligent and worth reading. The Mirror just seems lost. The Mail is though in a class of it's own with the level of misrepresentation and downright lies. It appeals to all the worst instincts of a large segment of British society and does nothing to help try to change them.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

The pretensions of 'intellect' does not make the nonsense they print any less deluded.

'Private Eye' is the best for quality investigative + revealing whilst 'The Week' for digest of news incl. review of editorials for various news stories.

If ever I need a smile or two I can always drop in here. It rarely disappoints. Considering that this place is dominated by the seriously deluded to describe others with more usual POV as "terminally deluded" is really quite amusing.

Which is the worst daily newspaper?
