Covid-19 cost cutting more likely.

What about Kammy?

No loss to humanity these old blokes shuffling on. Woke? I really don’t think so. Just a clear out, when was the last time a new pundit broke on to the show.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Jeff disappeared at some point in the next couple of seasons as well.

Sky Sports News has become nothing but a crusade for Black lives Matter and Women's sport.

We will now see a panel of Black and Lesbian ex footballers on a weekly basis no doubt.

My advice is to switch it off.

why are there so many women footballers doing punditry on men's football ?

like, i do not see a quota for male commentators to discuss the latest Female activity.

the BBC are shoving these women into these roles. The old boys club that was 'soccer saturday' will have been broken for good. It will be as wet as the last Terminator movie.

I saw this coming.

Sky Sports News has become nothing but a crusade for Black lives Matter and Women's sport.I barely watch it now.

Le Tiss has voiced his concerns and I more than suspect that is the real reason why they have been sacked.

We will now see a panel of Black and Lesbian ex footballers on a weekly basis no doubt.

My advice is to switch it off. It was the only bit of SSN still watchable and now the final nail is in the coffin.

We are birds on the same twig on this matter.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the trio who have been banished to pander to minorities. I shall not bother to tune into this programme.Absolutely disgusting.

Because of the kneeling people will be hitting sky where it hurts more than if there wasn’t the kneeling in 81 games. They need to be careful what they do because people can quite easily cancel now football without fans is easy to let go of. But no doubt in some companies there will be people in there who didn’t grow the business just like losing a family’s wealth once passed down. Don’t understand or distance your market and you will be damned. Call it arrogance in short. I won’t care. Hate sky.

A little while ago, a certain small streaming company named after the Rainforest decided it wanted to get into the world of Car shows. The BBC had the market completely sewn up and the most popular car show in history called Top Gear and they got so cocky they sacked the Hosts for a ‘refresh’ because obviously it was the show and the cars that brought in the viewers right, not the bumbling Hosts?

An even littler while ago, last season in fact, this same streaming company with unlimited resources and most of the Country already signed up because of its parcel delivery service decided it wanted to get into the world of Football. It streamed flawless games, all games in fact, in a pick and choose your game environment that gave Viewers the freedom of choice and made Sky look very old hat with its rigid schedule.

Anyone else connecting the dots here thinking we’ll see how popular ‘Sky Soccer Saturday’ is if there’s an Amazon stream of ‘Prime Football Saturday’ consisting of Jeff and the boys up against Sky’s no-name black, female and non-binary panel (please understand that if Jeff and the ‘boys’ happened to be black, gay and trans I’d want to watch them, this isn’t about that).

Admittedly Top Gear was easier to sort as the person they sacked first was actually the Head Honcho Jeremy Clarkson whereas Sky have kept Jeff but he’s surely unhappy and I’m not sure Amazon would have too much an issue trebling his salary.

if there is an angry backlash against Sky for sacking the 3 old boys, i predict a slow gradual change to the format.

they will keep Paul Merson and bolster the support with some similar types....

and only gradually will they give the programme its BBC makeover

Sorry but I draw the line at sex change freaks. I also switch of to females from 14 year old male speed football. As much as Alex Scott is easy on the eye, she just points out what 99% of people have seen. I want to hear a view from a professional who reads deeper stuff than ‘he did great at...’

There really are things that men or women can’t do. It’s just nature. Trying to meddle in all of it is arrogant idiocy.

I get a little irritated by this. During the womans World Cup a female pundit said ‘ don’t compare our game to the men’s game, they are different sports’ she was discussing how the ladies game was different and should be adapted(goals made smaller etc) to make it more competitive. The average size of a goal keeper in the men’s and woman’s games are different but the goals are the same size.
Anyway it’s a different sport, I find some of the female pundits pretty embarrassing, it would be like employing a male fan who has played a bit of 5 a side with his mates as a pundit.
Pointless, they add little to no value. The same can also be said of male pundits commenting on the female game.

They insist on female pundits on the cricket as well but at least the mechanics of the game are the same, albeit that the fastest bowlers are 20 mph slower but women talking about men’s rugby is just daft.

They actually have a point I agree on. The pitches are too long and the goals too big. But that’ll mean different venues or bringing the goals in and making it obviously smaller. It would be better viewing though because they run out of stamina in the box. The width is ok. Women like width.

When I watch MOTD I actually fast forward when the pundits talk I have no interest in them as the game is over so it doesn't matter what they say. I haven't listen to Lineker and Co in years and I don't have SSN either.

Anyway a mate who does listen to the pundits pointed out that the woman on MOTD (don't know her name) is useless not because she is a woman but because she agrees with the other ex pro's. She's a female Trevor Brooking.

As I said it doesn't bother me but what's the point of having pundits who agree all the time.

Oh I should add that the female commentator gets on my nerves so much I now listen to her highlights on mute. I'm sure she knows her stuff I just don't like her voice.

If you know football, neither the men or the women offer any insight into the game your watching. They all just point out the obvious and over analyse it.

The only enjoyment I get from the pundits is the heated debates on Sky with Keane, Neville and Carragher or the nostalgia talks BT Sport have with Rio, Owen, Keown etc.

The soccer Saturday lot offer nothing to the game, they’re dinosaurs who repeat the same nonsense week in week out. They’ll be missed for the ‘banter‘ aspect but nothing more.
