Others don’t

Agreed.

For the youngsters he was our centre half and had just started to get rave reviews for club and country when Best ended his career. I have no doubt that if that had not happened he would have got a move to one of the big boys.

Well that article above claims £250k a week and well, no one player is worth that in the Palace team right now. Besides the obvious few unimaginables of course.
Silly money at Spammers, ridiculous club and set up, will still bee relegation candidates no matter how much they spiff.

I think if the Spam do go for him that puts them out of the picture of any other major signings so maybe a good thing for Palace.

I can't see how they could afford him anyway but if they can they wont be after Eze.

Would love to see him at Palace never going to happen though for the same reason as West Ham. We can't afford him and if we could get the money together we wouldn't be buying anyone else so an unbalanced squad.

I know. Ian Walsh was a legend as far as I’m concerned.

I read that article this morning and nearly spat my coffee out! What a player - no chance he comes to us. Then I thought - Maybe at 29 years old Ramsey is thinking he’s made his money and he wants guaranteed game time... ..... NO CHANCE.

if only.

It could be that Eze could do an equally creative job for Palace, but at much lower cost?

Joe Ledley was good at dancing. Johnny Williams always had potential that he never fulfilled - according to most of us.

Ledley had the best beard, or was it Jedi. Difficult choice there but Ledley obviously gets best Welsh beard.

Ramsey would be welcomed with open arms but we could justify no more than Wilfs salary if he goes and to be honest I think they would be counting on Wilf's salary paying for a couple of decent players.

Papers have it slightly wrong. Gordon was going to open a restaurant in the new stand. He's had enough of waiting now though.

Very few clubs can afford him.

We are not one.

Agent probably talking to just one well bank-rolled club. Thus, buyer's market, and they can dictate terms. Unless...

Agent can convince said suitor that, actually, there are a host of other clubs sniffing around. That is, we are playing our type cast role of rung on someone else's ladder.

He ain't coming here. Close thread.

The agent isn't very bright then if he's putting it about that the permanently skint Crystal Palace are happy to take on board his £400,000 per week wages when every man and his dog knows how unlikely that is

I do hope WHU go for him, as that will knock on the head any other transfer business
