Zaha does make more tackles but I think the point is that Fraser is perhaps more useful defensively than you might think. Anyway I've taken this thread off track from Brewster so apologies for that. On the subject of heading, I am informed that Brewster is surprisingly good in the air for his height - he has a good leap on him.

I think we would be very lucky to sign Brewster. Razor sharp finisher - still lots to learn and improve on but his natural instinct in front of goal is something we haven’t been lucky enough to see since the days of Wrighty ...... if only for a season would be fantastic!

He definitely had more than 2 clearances the entire season, he played in almost every match and defended at every set piece.

I am surprised Zaha made any clearances, he normally was the player left up field for a quick break. I think I am inclined to trust the PL stats. As for Fraser’s height, can’t see it being a problem, he has been, on the whole, a good PL player

He's hardly a dwarf and we have enough tall players for set pieces - if we even care about them.

Brewster and Eze are kiddies, Fraser is good, but not top class, while Watkins is good, but with a high price for a center forward from the Championship. While exciting as it would be to watch these kids play and run a lot, it would be a difficult task staying up in the Premier League. Surely £20 million will secure him ? Maddison and Maupay went for that previously. Nothing seems to of changed, including us seeming to dick about to secure these type of players. Edited by Booted Eagle (18 Aug 2020 8.49pm)

Edited by Booted Eagle (18 Aug 2020 8.49pm) I think 18 million would secure him, cause that's the clause, but it's a question of salary bidding between a few Premier League clubs. However, 18 million seems huge to me for a Championship player. Patrik Schick is playing in a Champions League semifinal tonight, is the same age as Watkins, and costs 22 million. As a comparison, you don't even need to look further than a wikipedia page. Schick has 35 goals in 122 matches in the top leagues in Italy, Germany and for the national team. Watkins has 45 goals in 132 matches at secondary level for Brentford. Edited by mattteo (18 Aug 2020 9.46pm)
