Fair point - what I’m saying is that Relegation will be the trigger for him to re-evaluate his philosophy and improve. I’m convinced he’ll come back better for the experience. I’d like us to be the beneficiaries- I just think the timing could be spot on when Roy retires - we cant keep looking at one year at a time.

If Howe is to move on anywhere he has to learn , how and when to shut the door to his own goal. Hodgson, has only lost to him once in six games winning three. So if he came to us would we be better off?
Howe has got some good individuals ,and Brooks is one for sure, he would make a big improvement to our offensive play without shaking the team up to much. Exactly the sort we need but never can afford.
