When are they going to open the southern side of the new(ish) footbridge?

Hoarding still covers the bottom of half the steps from the Bedford Road side.

Seems strange that they must have spent millions building it just to keep it closed off.

But that's the railway companies for you. Paying consumers are only their for them to disrupt every time the union fancy a pay rise.

The frequency of service to Norwood junction needs to be improved.

I have frequently got off a plane at Gatwick, travelled to east Croydon and fossillised waiting for a connection to NJnc.

I thought Croydon council is broke? TFL are so who will be paying?

I think it's Network Rail that pay for station and line improvements

My understanding is that Network Rail that makes a business case tom the Department for transport and then Government Funding is provided for the national good. Part of making a business case is providing evidence that the work is wanted by travallers and locals. I leave you all to comment.

Another platform needed at least - it's just a stage that they have to go through.
