I have come to the conclusion that the whole alien visitation thing is for real and that more and more people in officialdom are revealing their knowledge of it or pressing for more disclosure. Stirling won't agree.

I prefer the idea put forward in the movie Explorers which was a bunch of alien kids nick their daddy's spaceship and go for a joyride.

If aliens revealled their presence then the americans would probably capture and dissect them.

There are loads of UFOs, but they are not likely to be alien in origin. A lot of sightings are around military testing zones for aircraft, drones and missiles. Some sightings can now be explained as comets, asteroids and meteorites. My dad was flight crew on RAF surveillance aircraft in the 1960's-1970's and his flight log books contain a couple of instances of air-bourne craft (with descriptions, altitudes and trajectories) he could not identify as current aircraft of the time. I'm open minded.

It's one answer to the Fermi paradox of why we don't see evidence of civilisations in the cosmos....apart from the fact that life is reasonably rare. At some stage all advanced civilisations discover extra dimensions and exploit them hence disappearing from this one.....or we could be seeing ourselves from the future visiting the past. Who the feck knows....it's an endless and enjoyable topic of speculation.

Pure speculation of course.....I'd say it's one of the more hopeful interpretations of the paradox.....We certainly would prefer that to us destroying ourselves via creating black holes or something like that. Edited by Stirlingsays (15 May 2020 3.49pm)

The Navy and Air Force have been told to keep a lid on this stuff for years. Only now is the solid evidence leaking out slowly.
