Bloody Ryanair won't cancel flights until a couple of days before they are due to take off. We are due to fly to Lanzarote in two weeks time and Ryanair are still insisting that the flights might go ahead even though we all know that it won't I booked a villa in Kefalonia for a week at the end of May and paid £300 deposit. I need to pay the balance next week which comes to £1,500 but as I doubt whether the holiday will take place it might be easier to just write off the deposit that I paid

A word of warning a friend had a trip to the Maaldives due next week she panicked and cancelled it before the FCO advice changed. She may get some money back but if she had just waited until this week she would have got 100%. So my advice is sit tight until the last minute and hopefully they will blink and cancel. Update Just found this travel advice in the mail. Edited by Badger11 (18 Mar 2020 7.55am)
