You misunderstand my point. BoxPark is sold out. You’ll need to find a pub. Most should have the match on.

From my perspective your ‘joke’ was simple old fashioned racism.

The guy who doesn't like labels finally goes full hypocrite....You don't like it when it hits home do you.

If you don't like the joke, that's your tough cheese, I make jokes about anything and everything.

Hits home? No, I don’t like you decrying my home town and the people I grew up with. Your insinuation that all black people are ‘other’ and to be scared of is frankly deeply dumb.

Errr....that's kind of the definition of hitting home slowcoach.

It is my home town.
I can say growing up 40 years ago was fantastic.
Bus to the odeon for saturday morning pictures, full with all your mates, no aggro no trouble,
Shopping on your own at 12 years old, never looking over your shoulder day or night.
I fear my home town is ruined.

In those days I was nervous of Shrublands, New Addington, Roundshaw, Stroud Green, Broad Green and some others. Heath Clark had to be shut down. I guess you weren’t bothered

Did this spread into the pavements respectable people walk, live, work and shop, and did anyone carry knives and machetes, and did we feel like outsiders in parts of the town centre, because we are? These days you can be done over for being somewhere whereas then you could keep your head down and be left alone.

FYi I was born in addo and folks moved and I lived on shrublands till I got a mortgage at 20.
That went south after 4 years so back to shrublands in a council flat for 11 years.
I knew the parents of the oiks so when I got aggro i had a word and it stopped.
Not sure that that would be the case now.
Even 18 years ago it was still a good place to live.
Now it is a gated community.
What does that tell you; they are all millionaires or it's a dangerous not very nice place.
I know what my doughs on.
Maple you sometimes have to see the wood.
