That's the thing about the Yanks they are always nicking our ideas and claiming them for themselves. Man About the House became Threes Company and Alf Garnet became Archie Bunker and now Jezza has become Bernie. Trump must be laughing his socks off if Sanders gets the nomination, a 78yo lefty with bad health will he even live long enough if elected? Maybe Hilary should be his running mate she could become President after all.

The wider sentiment is still about not trusting the political establishment and Sanders for all his seeming faults, represents perhaps the only Democrat who can push himself forward as a genuine alternative. Plus he will galvanize a lot of activist support and whilst that does not always translate into victory, it could still make a difference. If I was Trump, then Sanders is the only one of the contenders at the moment who might have me looking over my shoulder. The Democrat machine absolutely loathe Sanders and will pull any stunt to stop him winning (clear cut evidence on that from 2016) but he is a real threat and should not be taken lightly because of his age and health.

In the Democratic race to find the least useless freak to put up for 2020 the latest poll numbers are in. Sanders and Booty-Judge making surges...Bloomberg making an appearance but avoiding stop and frisk questions....Biden in free fall but he doesn't know as he's still working out what state he's in.....And Warren is confiding with Chief Sitting Bull on her next move. Apparently Bloomberg has started paying media influencers to design Internet memes that make him look cool.....how pathetic is that. He's as boring as cardboard so they have quite a challenge on their hands.

Understandably the focus in NH was on the Democrats but the figures that Trump secured in the Republican primary are quite astounding. Just short of 130,000 votes.

Gotta hand it to Booty-Judge here, that's the best zinger so far in the Democratic debates that I've heard so far. [Tweet Link]

While Booty-Judge comes across as the best talker from those available.....He doesn't have a hope in hell due to the black and hispanic vote. I think it's a straight fight between Bloomberg and Sanders.
