My wife is a staff nurse in a local hospital and the NHS is probably the biggest diversity employer around. Several of the Asian nurses at her hospital asked for a three week holiday on the grounds that two weeks wasn't enough time if you included travelling back and forth to India or pakistan and the extended holidays were granted. My wife asked for a three week holiday to visit relatives in Australia and her request was turned down. Understandably she's not a fan of diversity

My main problem with the forced diet of diversity, aside from the social realities, is the rather disturbing irony that we are being asked to celebrate the erosion of our own culture and our ultimate demise as a 'race'. When you look at Europe in world terms, we are the minority. In that context, the idea that we have to pander to and give positive discrimination to other 'races' who exist in far greater numbers globally is quite ridiculous and frankly scandalous. Back in the day if something wasn't mainstream and there wasn't a big deal made I was fine with it on a 'live and let live' bases.....Now I see that ruse was just a way in. Now they want to 'shove it in your face'....Well, can't they keep the 'shoving into faces' between themselves? Now if you're not celebrating 'trans kids' or teenagers or the next wave of minority characteristics you're apparently terrible. Thanks but if I'm 'celebrating' anything it's what I like. Edited by Stirlingsays (08 Nov 2019 4.20am) Wow, you came back as your obnoxious self I see. All ad hominem attacks and faux outrage When you have lived in a world full of variety, going back to a monoculture is truly boring, uninspiring and turgid. I suppose some people like that in life.

Yeah, higher crime and violence and lower trust in societies is....just so exciting. I can't say I believe much of your commentary in this area. You have your head stuck in the sand and I think you know it.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
