Taylor is obviously the fighter with Hearn's backing and it's obvious that if it's close she's always going to get the nod. Still nowhere near as bent as a golden boy bill tho.

He's the cash cow....and he can take one hell of a shot peds or not. We need a Hagler or Hitman Hearns to come on the scene to change it up. Edited by Stirlingsays (06 Nov 2019 5.56pm)

Wish her all the best... She has been a huge ambassador for women's boxing... Her success in the Olympics made thousands of women want to get in the gym and box... I would imagine most females who box today including Katie Taylor do so due to Nicola Adams.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

And indeed she met alot of sexism and old fashioned macho bulls*** discrimination which she worked hard to battle against But female boxing wasn't even an Olympic sport until 2008 and Crouch had already retired by then...

Women’s boxing has grown massively in the US recently and they wouldn’t even know who Nicola Adams is. Personally I can’t stand women’s boxing but each to their own. Edited by Tom-the-eagle (06 Nov 2019 9.27pm)

And for crying out loud......Listen to you, you're complaining about 'macho bullsh1t'....in boxing! You can't even be an alpha in frigging boxing without someone coming out with an 'ism'.....fecking hell. Shall we complain about the estrogen levels in knitting?

Wait until you get a second rate male boxer identifying as a woman then boxing a proper woman for the fireworks to begin.
