Watkins is one of a few Exeter academy players who have gone on to play at a higher level and this list includes Ethan Ampadu and Matt Grimes.Not forgetting of course Dean Moxey.

Watkins is proving to be a real 'Snip' for Brentford who paid £1.8 Mill for him.In terms of his penalty taking technique, he normally looks at the other end of the pitch then turns around runs up and shoots.I saw him change this method when Brentford played Leeds a couple of years ago and he skied his shot!

People should know that Ollie Watkins is playing an entirely new position this season- center forward. Brentford really has no one else left there after Maupay leaving.

So, you could say that it's good that he actually can play both left wing and center forward. But in truth, if I wanted to transfer him, I would want him to have continuity in 1 position.

From my pov, he is a good player, but not a good enough left winger to warrant the 20 million Brentford are asking. And he has too few matches as center forward to get him as a center forward.

I don’t usually post on here however I thought I’d share that I’ve heard from a source close to the club (cue the eye rolling) that we have a budget of £15 million to spend in January.

Bearing that in mind, who should be go for?

I’d personally love to lump it all on Ollie Watkins plus Wickham.
