Just seen this on the BBC Sport football website : "Despite losing one of their best young players, Crystal Palace actually had a pretty good transfer window, according to Carteret Analytics' data. As well as keeping hold of key attacker Wilfried Zaha, Palace bought Swansea striker Jordan Ayew for just £2.5m - a figure well below his intrinsic value. They also received a good sum for full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, though run the risk of his potential exceeding the projected value at Manchester United. Wan-Bissaka, sold for £49.5m, had an intrinsic value of just £23.32m at Palace. That value is expected to rise to £43m at United but that is still short of the fee they paid for him."

Who cares about their transfer window compared to ours. It is what it is. Working within our financial constraints, I think we did okay. Too much fixating on the rainbow warriors. Let them worry about us.

why don't we have the ability or balls to spot quality before it proves itself at top level - look at Maupay, he danced round the keeper and finished beautifully, wtf can't we spot his type or David Brook - no complaints with what did come in, it's what didn't arrive that exposes a chronic lack of strategy or vision, esp where recruitment and development is concerned, the state/status of the academy has been an issue,

"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017. |

Just tuned into their match v West Ham just before West Ham went 0-1 up. Bha equalised which I didn’t see but again West Ham looking dangerous against bha’s high line where they (Chico) scored from. This new football they’re playing doesn’t suit their basic and pedestrian defenders. Very vulnerable. Should be interesting.
