My only theory for why we spent money in all the wrong positions is that we were expecting to sell Wilf, and then for some reason that changed late on. I really can't understand why else we'd prioritise positions other than RB and striker (well, Dougie and Parish's incompetence aside).

Weaker than last season in squad and in key posistions. Stregthened the midfield which didnt really need doing. Cant wait for the panick january purchase of an aging striker to save our season.

How many transfer windows have we now had and still not solved the striker problem? I hate to be critical of Parish but this is a poor show I expect another season of struggle and maybe even relegation. I just hope the players prove me wrong. You cannot keep circling the drain and getting away with it, sooner or later....
