My early visits to France in the early 70s, and Greece come to that, provided some highly unpleasant toilet related experiences. Those holes is the ground seemed to be specifically designed to create a noxious environment.

I haven't been to a French public toilet for a good while, but the Greek ones have definitely improved
(apart from still having to deposit used paper in a basket)

I go to France often and toilets have largely improved there. Towns and cities with large homeless/ illegal immigrant populations have incredibly dirty streets which, yes, they do just use as toilets.
The public cleaners go to their union committee and refuse to clean it up. Being French they get away with it and you get to see the benefits.

They will rapidly turn Europe into the s***hole that they come from.

Ah, cultural enrichment.

That should be front and centre in the tourist brochures

Visited a unisex toilet. While I pee at the urinal there is an old lady standing right beside me at the washand basin. She peruses me pointing Percy at the porcelain , while soaping her hands. So much for privacy.

I was really shocked, I mean a French person using soap !

Mills and Boon called. They are interested in hearing more.
