Thought it was very toung in cheek and clearly a joke. Someone seeing it has identified a way to take offence and the authorities have backed down to easily. I notice they refer to the Are you Beach Body ready advert. Last year I contacted protein world and they gave me an excellent diet plan which made me lose two stone which has stayed off.... but encouraging people to be healthier is offensive apparently. It's also not noted that they used men in dozens of their adverts.

If I was that company owner, I would pump these types of adverts out at will. He couldn't have hoped for better publicity by getting his advert on the BBC website. Oh and by the way, if she's hot, she should take some clothes off.

How’s the echo chamber in here? Maybe if cultural libertarians had constructive conversations outside of an Internet snowflake bubble, there would be more participatory debate and/or understanding on these issues. But if you are just populist observers of current affairs who post on a football website under funky usernames like Tartantalks or Grolf the Power Ranger, perhaps the bigger issue is an impotent powerlessness? If you think academia propagates leftists, take it back through participation. If you think public messaging has become too puritanical, challenge it in your own daily lives. But by Christ, give the screaming into the void a rest. This beige corner of the Internet has become a refuge for... nothing. Nothing at all. No good work is being done here. These words included. Wake up and do something better with your existence.

Wake up and do something better with your existence. Who are you to give out this kind of 'advice'? You seem to recognise it but all the same, arguing against political forums due to their lack of utility.....showing irritation with people showing irritation does seem to contain a kind of delicious irony. Also you make several assumptions and leaps in your post.....you simply don't know what people are doing. As for mocking user names...... Edited by Stirlingsays (23 Jul 2019 7.29pm)

If I ran the planet, I would subjugate Australia and turn it into a giant prison island for British criminals and stupid people. Hold on...
