Another one jumping to conclusions ... hell what a bunch we are! We could simply solve a situation with limited naval resources by going into a coalition with the Americans who have plenty in the area. However, what do we do? Theresa May who is questionably the worst PM we've ever had sits down with the French and Germans to issue a statement criticising the US. Both those EU countries have huge interests in Iran they want to safeguard. I am certainly not pro European but I have no desire to reopen another argument. I stand by my original comments about ineffective leadership, confused foreign policy and limited military. The latter is knowingly underesourced at all levels along with every other public service in the UK whilst we contine to waste millions/billions on nonsense including prevaricating on Brexit.

When the entire squadron of F35Bs arrive and HSM Price of Wales come into service the UK will have the second strongest Navy in the world.

In terms of military strength we are joint strongest in Europe with France.

The German armed forces are pretty useless having only been used in combat once since the war and largely limited to peace keeping duties.

We are the only nation ever to use nuclear class submarines in anger and this could certainly be an option.

One Type 45 destroyer has the fire power to take out the entire Argentine airforce which is why they got upset when we sent one little boat to the Falklands a few years back.

Personally, we need a great big sort out and I think we should respond with aggression. Sink their fleet and air strike their ports, f*** em. If it kicks off over here, good. Reveal the enemy within once and for all and make the government deport/imprison people. If we get Syria mark 2, good. The US and Isreal are itching to wipe half the middle East off the planet, let them get on with it.
