Their 'El Presidente' (Kieran Maguire) was on BBC Breakfast this morning pontificating about the ethics of gambling companies being shirt sponsors, following the Paddy Power/Huddersfield deal. Two things occurred to me. Firstly they clearly don't do irony on the south coast as Starlizard, supposedly the major source of Bloom's wealth, is a vehicle to advise on and place massive football bets on the Asian market for the super wealthy (including Bloom himself). And secondly, I couldn't decide if betting companies or banks were the most evil.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

The one thing that has surprised me in recent weeks is that Parish has been really quiet on Palace. Patrick just to say that Parish always goes quite unless he is giving good news. Every season due to lack of activity in the transfer market, We start the season short of first team quality players, And I should imagine its going to be the same this season. I am sure he will bring in some out of contract and average free transfer's that no one else wants. I Hope i am wrong but I do think this season could be the one where we get caught out, You cant get away with it every season, Total mismanagement IMO Edited by Medway Eagle (18 Jul 2019 2.50pm) Edited by Medway Eagle (18 Jul 2019 4.08pm)

Most folk have no idea if he is good or not, they just read the rag newspapers and articles and believe he is decent. £25m for a player who has only started 7 Premier League games and scored 1 goal does seem excessive to be fair but he is only 21 so should improve but great business for Everton.
