I am politically what many of you would describe as ‘the left’ however don’t really find this sort of joke funny.
You cannot pick and choose what is acceptable or not due to your political position. Danny Baker was sacked and on that basis Jo Brand should be also.
The Grenfel tower bonfire is a difficult one. It was never meant to be shared amongst the public. No one would have been shocked or offended if someone had not posted it on twitter, where as Brand and Baker made their jokes knowing people would find them offensive.
