Always thought as a bloke he was straight and honest, always trying to do the best he could...however, his brand of football is dire and like most English managers doesnt know how to adapt when called upon to do so.

Who now for them? Pards, Big Sam? They have a squad that needs serious investment so will be interesting to see just how quickly they get a replacement and then signings in.

It ain't that easy though, as we well know.

Has there been a more successful B&H manager, they were a shambles when Hyppia left.

3 wins in over 20 games is very poor. Plus they actually spent some money this season, with the new players not exactly setting the PL alight. I like Hughton as a person, but in the games I've seen they have been depressing to watch. Had it not been for us gifting them points they would be down. I hope the fans are made to believe they're going to get Benitez and then they get someone like Moyes or Pardew

Pep Guardiola will be first choice, after the cup final of course.

I can't see him joining another relegation struggler. He's too good for them and will probably be in demands from much bigger clubs if he decides that enough is enough at Newcastle

Cant believe he would even consider them, he is one of the best managers in the world, Man Utd should get him

Assistant Paul Trollope and coach Paul Nevin have gone as well. Thought they'd at least have left a number two in place.

A nice guy is Chris, but he's left the club in a mess.

A myriad of expensive signings that have failed to deliver. They will be difficult to move on and will incur big losses. Not too many saleable assets among the more established players.

Reliance on a 35 year old striker for a large percentage of their goals.

I think they need an experienced operator to sort all that out.

Pards will enjoy the sea air....
