Lucky escape me thinks. Not so. The politics has changed When my boss in Sri Lanka left to join the opposition party we thought he had signed his death warrant as he is Church of England. He is now Minister of Finance and a truly tremendous man. This has come so out of the blue. Can’t see it being LTTE related or Muslims. We know one lady injured by shrapnel, just relieved there are no others.

Wee were there for two weeks last May - one week in Habarana in the middle, the second at Trincomilee on the east coast. Stay central/south for the tea growing hills and the south coast for beach holiday.

It also didn’t get bombed. So why stay South?

You should never have left to run Brunei mate, this would never have happened. And as for "not so"? 300 dead says very, very different.

A mass killing by suicide bomb just isn't logically going to have anything to do with the religion of peace. Nope. Hang on...
