Sadly I can't agree that they are at the peak of their potential. Even if hopefully they did get relegated they have got a long term strategy and infrastructure (new ground, new training complex, new youth set-up, a feeder club in Belgium) in place that means that they likely to keep developing. Sadly in comparison we have a drawing of a new stand. Originally posted by est1905
I have no doubt Brighton would roll over if it meant us going down. Just like Pompy did a few years back so the Saints went. I'd much rather play them occassionally in the cups than have them in the same league as us anyway. Despite their lovely new stadium I still consider them a smaller club than us. They are at the moment at the absolute peak of their potential whereas we are above them and even non Palace fans that know football agree we are underperforming.

Can they do a Leicester (did they win something like 5 of their last six and stay up)? Seems unlikely but it has happened. We all know that away fans do not necessarily have the best of times in Wales, yet I can't help but prefer Cardiff over Bright*n. Warnock is his hilarious best too, while I have never personally enjoyed Hughton's interviews.

I can't like Warnock; he's a swivel-eyed Brexiteer for a start. And frankly Cardiff fans are up there with the most obnoxious and aggressive in the Prem. I'm never going away there again. Originally posted by ASCPFC

Well done, you've turned this into another political thread. I also am a 'swivel eyed Brexiteer. What say you now?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I want Brighton down, all day every day... jealous of their set up, they have got it good compared to us. However, i like Warnock, i don't like how Cardiff have handled themselves of late.

Brighton down please. Looks very unlikely even through we gifted them 6 points this season. Rivalry aside, they have a better set up and more potential than Cardiff too, so will pose more of a threat next season. Not sure what the current view of of Chris Houghton down there. They've played badly for months. Players and fans alike must be getting sick of him.

I live on the south coast, a 30 mins train ride from Brighton but I have no idea how Hughton is viewed by supporters.I do know a few Brighton supporters (Not as friends !) but I don't speak to them about such matters,in fact I rarely speak to them at all. If Cardiff get a reult at Burnley, then Burnley may be in trouble as they have a tough run in.

I'd like Cardiff to go down, scummy fans who hate England with a passion. I'd like Brighton to stay up and for us to get revenge over them for doing the double over us.
