When was the last time Schlupp didn't play? I don't mind too much him starting, he does show glimpses from time to time but why is he the only player never to make way? Honestly just feels weird that he is seemingly shoe-horned into any available space just to keep him on the field, odd.

I would rather see ayew as attack/mid just behind benteke and kouyate in there. drop schlupp, bat , mcarth if it doesn't work they can be on bench for some changes. Edited by grumpymort (06 Apr 2019 2.27pm)

So let me get the story right so far, if we lose Hodgson out, if we win Hodgson out. If we lose it's all down to Hodgson and the players are not to blame. If we win it will be despite Hodgson's team selection and will be all down to the players. Is that a fair summary? Just I don't quite follow the logic on here.
