Won't make it through the next season.

They should have waited until the end of the season and gone all out to get Pochettino who I think would jump at the chance to manage one of the biggest clubs in the world with plenty of money to spend.

Perhaps he should have timed his exit according to the end of his winning run!

The only way is down it does seem a poisoned chalice.

Good luck to him.

Nice guy, soulless team.

be interesting to see if the board has the bollix to give OGS the power to get rid of the 'bad apples' and those that have not earned the right to wear the shirt or the ones that just aren't performing - Pogba the obvious one - Sanchez for different reasons and Lukaku isn't hitting the mark.

I've just been reading some of the comments by Manure fans on the BBC Sport website. It makes me chuckle each time one of them bemoans the way that Chelsea and Man City have - in their view - "bought" all their league titles. That never happened at ManUtd, did it now?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Not really. Man Utd were successful for a long period before the money got completely silly. In my opinion, they earned it.

Chelsea and Man City were average Premier League clubs and pretty much bought success over night. I despise both clubs for this reason.

For how many years were Man Utd "the richest club in the world"; remind me?

Just to be clear - I don't care how rich clubs are; it's the whinging hypocrisy of Man Utd fans laughably implying that Chelsea's and Man City's successes are unwarranted that I'm trying to highlight.

Wouldn't protest, but would stop going. Not for me.

The constant struggle is the enjoyment of being a Palace fan.

Probably many years, but I don't know the answer. My point is that they have always been a big club and its self-fulfilling - large crowds, good on the pitch, high merchandise sales, attract more money from sponsorship. The position is similar with Liverpool.

Chelsea & City don't have that. Simply bought success over night with will billionaires buying their club.
