Do you think Cardiff will get more than 33-34 pts?

They are not that bad, could have easily got a goal today against Wolves had enough opportunities, Fulham and Huddersfield are gone and I think Southampton will follow.

Would take some spectacular for us to go down. We are home and hosed. 100% for the cup now

We've started the month off in the best way possible, a win, a good performance, top players performing and recently recovered players getting match time.

While I'm really hopefully and confident for the month ahead I do also have some worries (obviously, I support Palace).

Central to our recent form and for our hopes for the rest of this season, once again, is Wilf and next match is going to be a real test. While I have no doubts he will be able head and shoulders above them in ability on the day, they will no doubt know this also and be looking to wind him up and cause a scene any time anything occurs with Wilf.

I'm hoping we are wise to this tactic (as well as the ref) and look to punish them if they do try to shut down Zaha with underhand tactics.

You would think not, however the last 6 or 7 games always throw up a few surprises, bottom teams always seem more motivated against teams with nothing to play for.

Cardiff have a tough running and they had key defender Sol Bamba stretched off yesterday.

Thinks it's going to be bye bye Bluebirds.

I had us down for 3 to 6 points from Leicester, Burnley, United, Brighton and hudders as expected/ minimum to avoid disaster. We have achieved the top end of that so from hudders and Brighton i would be content with 2 points. Difficult to know what to expect as hudders will fight (so we could certainly struggle to score) and Brighton while currently s*** could up their game against us / we could fall apart like last time. However I'm relaxed off the two wins as we are so close and there are enough games that o think we'll get sufficient points.

As mentioned on another thread they have to play 4 games against the top teams and will have to get 3 wins just to catch up with us. Also we have to play them away, where we are looking sharp and have scored in 9 away games on the bounce supposedly. With Bamba looking crocked yesterday it looks grim for them. May well catch a team lower than us but they would have to change their form spectacularly presently to be near us. Great chance to seal the deal in the next 2 games, as long as Roy loosens the shackles and puts out an adventurous attacking side with Meyer, Bats, Wilf and Andros.

One game at a time. If the weed play as narrow against us as they did against Huddersfield, Wilf, Townsend, PVA and AWB will have a field day.

They are not s*** at all and Mr Friend aided their 3-1 win over us didn't he with that pen and obvious goal kick corner crap along with red cards to seriously f*** up our defence, especially Tompkins.

If we win our next two league games then we would have an outside chance of getting 7th tho probably just a little bit too much to do.

I think our target now should be mid table.
It would be good to finish above Bournemouth or maybe even Leicester and Everton.

I think Watford in the cup will be very tough and we need motivation afterward should we lose. Hopefully, the 3 points we need to be virtually safe will come at Brighton and we can go into the cup game relaxed.

It won't be mathematically certain for a few games yet but for Cardiff to overtake us they have to get 10 points more than we do over the next 10 games. That is extremely unlikely. Cardiff are very unlikely to get to 40 points given their run in, so all Palace will need is 6 points from the next 30. The team is playing well so 2 wins or 1 win and 3 draws shouldn't be beyond them...

I know it goes against the grain but we don't need to worry...

it's the next FOUR games imho - we'll thrash the weed famously, if we cud beat Hudds and Newc then it's flip flops time league wise and an all out attack on the Cup - this is the best squad this club has ever had - top ten finish, Millwall or the weed in the semi, cud be a famous season yet, and not the first hopefully, roll on the new stand, peace and good will to all men and rivers of milk and honey in Croydon High Street, oh yes.
