Brilliant decision by Roy to bring in Scott Dann, the best header at the club to combat Burnley's two donkeys upfront and their aerial bombardment.

I like the line up....two interchangeable keepers.

Meyer deserves a start and it's arguable that Schlupp, while having the lesser reputation might just actually be more effective offensively than Townsend.

That might be BS but I suppose that's what matches like this would show or not.....besides both he and McArthur probably need a rest.

Also how on earth can Roy drop Schlupp for Meyer when he’s just received player of the month award? Would send out dreadful signal

Kouyate in for Mccarthur, height reasons I’m assuming against a physical Burnley side, maybe the same for Hennessy and Dann.

Meyer instead of Townsend, maybe for more intricate passes around Burnley, should benefit Michy more.

Townsend surely must have a knock? This is a bizarre decision.

He does go missing but we need him in there.

Schlupp ahead of Townsend is a ballsy call. Meyer deserves a start.

Worst news here is the return of hennessey, thought those days were over.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Think Roy has picked the best starting eleven today, Burnley throw in lots of crosses as someone has mentioned.
If the plan doesn't work we have a good bench to change the game, fingers crossed.

Townsend badly needs a rest and as much as I like him, his final ball is mostly poor.
Im delighted to see Meyer start but my big concern is that he is now going to be shoved out onto the wing were he is not as affective and he will be needed to defend more.

I knew Roy wouldn't drop Schlupp... He really is Roy's golden boy isn't he?!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Can only imagine Wayne is playing as he's taller and Burnley play long balls....problem is, Wayne is s*** at catching lol
