PVA has been playing bad for the last month, something needs sorting there. meyer showed his class. we miss AWB , don't really understand the 3rd sub but still. I see why Roy plays him: energy and a bit of a goal threat. I simply think we have better options. Specifically Meyer.

I thought Van Arnholt was a complete waste of space last night. His positional play as a defender was pathetic and he made no runs forward, which is his strength, hence a 2. Schlupp, on the other hand, worked his socks off in midfield and was very effective. Unfortunately, he also can't defend and went missing in the box for two of the goals. Gaita got his positioning all wrong for the second goal, even though it was an excellent finish from Lukaku. Meyer simply has to start, but in a more advanced role.
Let's keep the ball this season! |

I actually thought Luka was off his game - misplaced quite a lot of passes but given his usually consistency can give him 1 bad game. Jimmy Mac played well in an even first half and Max played great when he came on.
