A shame but the 3,100 will still make more noise than the other 18,000.

Excuses to be honest. I always thought of Watford as a tin pot club, and this just about confirms it. It is obvious that you are trying to gain an advantage by keeping the noise down, but this smacks of desperation. Exactly - Doncaster let us have the HF drum and flags etc. That Watford are trying to dampen our impact should be taken as a massive compliment

It's a shame but to be expected. Ticket prices are very low and it's not as if they need the extra £30k revenue. Better to try and restrict our numbers and try to keep us quiet. Fingers crossed that I get my tickets today and that we have a repeat of the Doncaster match and sing from start to finish.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

We've got the 15% allocation which we're entitled to, why would the home team want to give us any more than that in a quarter final? The Doncaster situation is slightly different as for them ticket sales revenue is important and they would not have sold out. Ticket sale revenue is peanuts for Premier League clubs.

Very petty on their part, shows they're running scared already.. also let's hope whoever the referees the game stamps on the "thugs" they call footballers who targetted and tried to injure our players, Wilf in particular, the last time at Vicarage road.. hopefully we'll shut Deeneys fat ugly mouth too..

Its obviously very annoying but you can understand it. Why would you give any perceived advantage to the opposition when you don't have to. Bit of a non-story for me. Just like us and appealing Wilfs red when we did because it suited us. They are within the rules.

I once saw Terry Christian on TV call us a 'suburban joke club'. Tezza - please note that the tw@ts from Hertfordshire beg to differ.

Wow this thread is gold! Who knew that it'd take restricting you to a few less seats would wind you girls up this much! This and twitter has been a lovely read this morning with my popcorn! You're lucky you get an actual end and aren't shoved in a corner somewhere with a dodgy restricted view like you do to your away fans. I'd say you're afraid to give away fans a proper end but then you don't actually have a decent end to give up. Lovely stuff. Carry on chaps!

Sounds petty and like one of those stories that gets onto talksport or 606 and usually ends up in the club backing down. If there's no safety issues then denying people the chance to watch a FA cup quarter final is particularly unsporting and a poor way to treat fellow fans. Although it comes as no surprise from a team that fields whole teams of loan players and signs the likes of Marlon King and Troy Deeney. It is clearly petty by Watford, like when they gave us the lower tier in the main stand in the play-off semi-final in case the game went to penalties. When were 3-0 up on aggregate and still being out sung. We also embarrassed their supporters at the 2-2 draw at Vicarage road in the promotion season. Despite being 2-0 up at half time were completely out-singing them. The pathetic silence at the play-off final causes a major fallout on their message boards, the place where their supporters make the most noise it appears. They had better players than us, but the support and mercenary's from Udinese just weren't up for it. There club like to hate us, in particular Wilfred Zaha. Hate from a club with no home grown players and embarrassing support aimed club with good support and home grown players just comes across as jealousy. Does anyone remember Watford Ann? Who came on here to ask for money to protest against stem cell research..... I'll leave it there.
