COYP This sums it up quite nicely, they do have the best part of eight or so players out who might otherwise start. Roy is far too canny a manager to allow complacency, to set in. But we do have a decent chance of a point at least.

Martial, Matic, Herrera, Mata, Lingard and possibly Rashford all missing must help us but it depends on Roys approach. Another Chelsea performance would be unacceptable

If we could somehow get a win it would really allow us to focus on the cup, but injuries sometimes mean other stars get to shine, like AWB did for us. I would love us to have a repeat of the 5-0 from the 70s (that I wasn't born for!) just so my Dad can stop referencing it Is that too unrealistic of me?

This is probably the best ever chance we will get to beat them. If all these players are out that kust basically leaves them with Pogba, Sanchez and Lukaku as attacking options. Pogba is quality and a threat but the other 2 are nothing to worry about, Lukaku is no better than Benteke and just lumbers about the pitch and we all know how Sanchez has gone down the pan. We should be looking to get at them and exploit their situation which Liverpool failed to do yesterday.

Another Chelsea performance would be unacceptable One game and Chelsea played it very well like yesterday's final, have been bad at times this season because their players are mainly mercenary's. We will get at least a point. Edited by Tickled pink (25 Feb 2019 10.04am)

As for the best ever chance of beating them I would point out we were 2 up in the corresponding fixture last year, and were by far the better team in the away fixture this season. We are certainly not without hope.

It was 0-0 at Old Trafford earlier since when United appear transformed but we go in to this positive.

Did they play their youth team against us at the end of last season........ And we lost. Dont read too much into injuries, they have class everywhere. Unluckily.
