This.

One of the only things I respect about Corbyn is he crushes his political opponents (within party) in true Maoist/Stalinist style. Not frightened of deselecting those who do not obey, so I can't see him being wobbled by this.

Literally no MPs have been deselected by the leadership. They haven’t even called for mandatory reselection!

The only thing Momentum has asked for is democratic mandate for all these wonks who were parachuted in by the national party machine under Blair. As we can see with these 7, they don’t want that: if thy did they would have by-elections.

Who are the Stalinists in that scenario?

I understand that he feels that these MPs should put themselves up for re-election.Probably believes that with all but one in a safe Labour seat they will be ousted and he will then have in place hard-left candidates. The more of these he has as MPs the better as far as he is concerned.

Wrong.

Watson has already given a broadside that Labour must change and a very good message too.

Completely baffled by anti-semitism in the Labour party, I am one of those who just doesn't get it, but it is there apparently and must be stopped.

Corbyn McDoughnut etc. must be axed quickly.

Plenty of horrible people in both parties.

So the tories will get in again on a much reduced vote, but really our system is an archaic mixture of privilege but mostly just incompetence.

Why? They increased Labour’s vote share by 3.5 million in 2 years. If they were CEOs, thy would be getting multi million pound bonuses from their shareholders, not being shown th door.

Where did I say they were?

During leadership challenges and rumoured inner turmoil word was that this promise was what kept order. McDonnell was his Pitbull.

If labour get in the only ones who will get multi millions are the lazy feckless scroungers paid by the workers.

What relationship do they have with their membership, and the voters?

That is why they poll so badly, the members and the public do not want brexit, or leftie dottiness.

An evasive dodgy duo - get rid.

Really there is no point how could they win an election?

The 1980's all over again.

They both are MPs in constituencies where they have increased their vote share exponentially. Corbyn was voted for by the membership of Europe’s largest political party, twice, and their manifesto saw Labour get a higher number of votes than in the previous 4 elections.

They poll badly because the establishment have their guns turned on them. How many other politicians in this country can claim a democratic legitimacy as strong as the one above?

You said they were ‘not frightened of deselecting those who don’t obey’ yet thy literally have never done that. That’s basically why today happened.

Wrong. The majority of the public voted otherwise.

Thats why we live in a democracy

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Yes, from that direct quote where did I say they've ever deselected anyone?
