Sorry my mistake, I meant 12th.

I find it interesting that I keep getting called an agitator by three posters just because they don't like to be confronted with the facts of reality.

It's only an opinion, it wouldn't get to you.if it didn't ring true.

Your opinion is certainly not '' getting to me ''. We disagree on most things, but that's fine and what's the point of having a discussion board if everyone is in agreement ? As for ringing true - far from it.

As for '' facts of reality '' I think you're getting a bit carried away there and mixing it with your view of the world. Which happens to be different from some other people's.

Individualy probably. Collectively no.

Precisely. You can have the best players on the planet, but if they don’t do the business...

In fact the OP reminds me of the kind of sentiments being expressed by many posters back in August.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Eddie Howe is underrated, the job he's done at Bournemouth is incredible.

If Potch goes to United I can see him stepping in at Spurs. Good scouting network, buys from lower leagues, promotes youth.

All compatible with how Levy operates and they play some cracking football at times.

Very envious of how Bournemouth is run/ managed.

I concur that he has done a fantastic job.
When he went back to the club in season 2012-13 Bournemouth were 21st in League One and he got them promoted that season. They have gone from strength to strength.

As much as this new signing excites me/us I do wonder if a centre forward is the issue here? I just hope Townsend and Zaha can give him better service than they have given so far this season. Then we have our midfield who’s shooting has been awful as well as the two mentioned above. Creating chances with that final ball is why we are where we are at the moment. Plus our defenders have missed some glorious chances all season with Sako on Wednesday being a good example? Not trying to be a downer here but it’s more than the centre forward that we need?

At least we are too good to go down. Gulp

We do sem to have a strong first team and bench I think we are due to batter one of our rivals soon. Not sure it will be Fulham on Saturday though.

The table doesn't lie so let's hope we're higher up it after 38 games

To other poster, what is wrong with being run like Spurs?

Great transfer business, excellent manager, new stadium

Not that long ago 'Arry came in because they were in a potential relegation fight

You're absolutely spot on for me.

Absolutely criminal that the majority of fans seem stuck in the mindset of survival and that we're probably beyond catching 13th.

That backline alone deserves a top ten finish. Watford, Brighton, Bournemouth, Newcastle to name just 4 teams above us don't have better sides than us.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

On paper were a decent side it’s just on grass we’re below average teams like Watford and Bournemouth have more depth than we do and Bournemouth have goal scoring strikers and midfielders

walking down the holmesdale road to see the palace aces!

We do have a brilliant squad, the only problem is Roy, even though he will always make sure we are organised and focus on the task at hand, he is a bit unadventurous for my liking. We need an Eddie Howe type manager at the helm but no one immediately springs to mind. If it doesn't work out at Leeds for Bielsa, I would be begging for us to get him in the summer if Roy retires.

Bournemouth's top 4 scorers in PL have amassed 29 goals.
Our top 4 scorers have amassed 17 goals.
