Can’t believe that Zaha is spoken about as not reaching his peak yet and on another thread it was said that Townsend is slowing down and getting old. They are 26 and 27. Zaha has a lot more natural ability than Townsend , but mentally one is like a boy and the other one a man.

One gets rough treatment.

That's why we notice his behaviour.

Townsend has better mental toughness. Plays hard with controlled aggression for 95 minutes. I cannot remember him sulking or looking cross.

A bloody good eagle

Townsend had many loans to clubs when at Spurs.
he know that other players had to work hard at those clubs as they have mortgages.. he has a toughness Wilf will never have!!

Something needs to happen!!
100% class player
But is he a team player?
Or is it about trying to do all the tricks and turn but not seeing the passes, his quite capable off, but rather do more efficient passes/runs until he gets his form back

Timid tackles, he falls over and moans

Yes always seem to have two players around him, but if he could only gamble with passing quicker sometimes, but we have to be aware Van Aanholt (in poor form a from his high levels last season) link up play isn't good this season, last year was amazing.....

He ambers back!!!!! but is that a disguise??
Always moaning to other team players about a better ball to him but how often the other way round without moaning, "shrugs of shoulders".. "it wasnt my fault...."

COME OF WILF!!

I wouldn't want to lose either player. But if we're talking price tags, Wan Bissaka's must be close to being the biggest in our team now. Form, coupled with his age, he's got to be our most valuable asset.

Andros is definately more energetic, goes on more runs, but delivers less in and around the box.

WIlf can be frustrating, both to us fans and the opposing players, depending on his mood. But far and above delivers more in and around the box than Andros.

If Wilf would stop flopping and play to the refs whistle, the refs would protect him more, and he would be top quality. It can be easy to take wilf out of a game just by messing with his head.

Salako on Zaha:

[Link]

His form is a concern, he was on fire back end of last year.

For me he needs to be a bit less quick to throw his arms up and get that “what’s going on ere, guv” look on his face if he doesn’t get a decision.

One thing Zaha does is attract defenders because when he was on the ball vs Spurs he regularly had 3 players around him, that is good for his teammates if nothing else.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I couldn't agree more,Wilf's performance against Spurs was a disgrace. He took the gloss off of what was a great team display,I was screaming at Roy to sub him because his attitude and play was so poor.Whether he had the hump that other players had been rested instead of him I do not know, but I wish he had been.He is not a top player, as by now he should know when to dribble, and when to pass and move, and he clearly dosen't.He should watch a replay of that game and hang his head in shame, look at Andros's performance and learn how to put in a team effort as he did.

Salako actually sounds upset that spurs were not able to get back into the game, his mate N'Koudou upset him greatly ...wtf!
